57swx20b removing board question?

I have the convergence ic isssue that is talked about in great detail on this board. I have ordered and recieved the parts and have my father in law coming over to help with the desolding and solding in a little while. I am trying to remove the board and have everything undone except the three wires that plug into the top of the black round piece.(see pic below) I cant get these undone, is there a trick to it or just pull harder? I feel i pulled hard enough that they should of come unplugged? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

cant figure out how to post pic on here.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you have to slightly twist and it will pull up and out.

You may want to wait for confirmation from someone else, just to be sure.

Probably: http://www.hdtvoice.com/voice/showt...ighlight=bnc%2A

But they could just be tightly inserted and held by friction...

Perhaps someone knows for sure.

when I was removing the wires from the power module i pulled too hard on one and it came out but the end stayed in. I pulled the board fixed the convergence ic's and put it all back together. The picture through my hd cable box is black and white but no convergence problem. When I run the cable directly to my tv I get color and a good pic but obviously its not hd. I just pushed the one cable that broke back in the hole and it stuck so I though maybe it was working. Does anyone know if one of those cables in the color for hd power cable? Or if it can be fixed without replacing entire board?
Thanks
