First off DONT buy Insignia or Dynex LCDs at Best Buy they might get a few good reviews, but in a head2head comparison to a NAME BRAND they are really freakin inferior. You can just see how crappy they are put together and the poor workmanship in them. DONT FALL FOR THEM. its worth it either spend more for better name or drop down in screen size to match ur budget.
Now for anyone whose gonna buy a HDTV soon from lets say Best Buy. Make sure you wheel n deal for a lower price or for them to throw in a hdmi or component cable u need! they are in posistion to deal, and they NEED to sell TVs. SO get a grasp on the FLOOR MANAGER and tell them that u wanna deal. I just did I got a a free 3' HDMI cable added to my deal for FREE!!! Best buy, Circuit City are dire need to make sales take advantage of it! {edit} and yes woopIE, but 90% of n00bs dont know that and the cheapest HDMI cable @ BB is $29.99 so yeah that and $25 gift card is a good deal for ANY 1st timer Last edited by nicknowsky : 01-06-2009 at 11:41 PM. |

I'd also check Costco or Sam's Club. You can get a pretty sweet LCD or Plasma for up to 20% off the regular retail price. At Best Buy if you pester the person helping you out enough for a deal, they usually cave in.

I'd also look at Online auction websites such as Circuspop etc. Auction websites usually have special promotions from time to time. I believe this website is offering free shipping and a deal on limited HDTV's
