Hello, smart people.

I am in the market for a Mitsubishi HD-TV. Now my questions are: Is the firewire going to cut it as far as the next generation input/output, or should I wait for a model that will have the DVI input? Are devices like dvd players and such coming standard with firewire now or in the near future? Also, should I get an HD-TV with an internal tuner, or wait and shop for a set top device.
I was actually eyeing the Wt-46809 46" 16:9 HD-TV. If anyone has a rating on this set, drop me a line.

I'm obviously overwhelmed and not too bright, so any help is much appreciated. The sooner I get the answers, the sooner I can blow my cash! Yeahhhhhh!!

I just ordered the WS65909. 1394 Firewire, yes. DVI, no. Integrated HD tuner. Net Command software to allow access to all your peripherals (dvd, vcr, a/v, etc.) with the Mits remote from onscreen icons, thus no need for a handful of remotes to operate your gear.
