I have read posts in regards to the HX series where people talk about chosing their input resolution. I do not see where his can be selected on a HDX82. Any advice?

Although this TV will "accept" 720P signals, it will not display them. There are no current CRT-based RPTVs that display 720P natively. The 720P signals will be converted to 1080i.

On SD signals, you should be able to select 540P or 1080i as your display mode. When you receive an HD signal, the 540P will be "greyed out".

Thanks 57U, but i errored in my post. I meant to say 540 vs 1080. I cannot find where i can toggle between the 2 settings. Is it a remote button? OSD?

I don't know about the Toshiba. In my Hitachi it's a user menu item - not a button. Something like "Picture - Formats".

On my 65HDX82 you cannot select 540p or 1080i. The TV just does it. 480i/480p are converted to 540p and 720p is converted to 1080i. The TV just has one horizontal sweep frequency.
