service menu tips

are their any simple service menu tips to get a better picture? i did the 56 pt conv. but am not sure if i saved it right. after i was done i hit 7 again and it said press auto focus and i did .. and it said calibration finished... is this the correct way to save my work?
also how do i scroll around the service menu items?

Quick answer, don't press autofocus after pressing 7, just press 7 twice.

Please Please write down the codes in the service menu in case you screw up and hit the wrong button.

Please let us know if the HDX82 instructions work for the HX83's.
