f38310 sluggish start up

I notice that when I turn on my set after a few hours of non-use the picture seems a bit wavy in areas. After about 90 seconds the picture stabilizes. I thought that maybe it was the Directtv Receiver causing the problem, so when I switched to view the OTA signal the problem still occurs. I have never unplugged the unit and am wondering that maybe I should unplug it and give the fan a rest. Anybody encountering this problem?

I've never seen this problem as you describe it.

Unplugging for a few hours is worth a try.

May be getting ready to die with the "cap/diode" problem.
It's probably a good idea to talk to your techs prior to a service call to get the parts on order or in stock, just in case.

Maybe they will perform the replacement proactively if you're lucky!
