hello people: my question is i have the model sd-582-hd set and on the back i have rgb input. i recently purchased a used hd receiver(RCA DTC100) and it only has out put for vga will this work with my set, and will the pioneer display hi def on the rgb input. any help would be greatly appreicated thanks

Yes, but make sure you use Raster Centering on the DTC100 to fix the 6% offset that older units had.
Also, use S-VHS for your non-HD program material, as using the DTC100 to upconvert will lock you set into Full Mode, and you will not be able to use your screen mode adjust.
