Hello. It;s my first time in this forum. I'm planning on buying a 36 inch HDTV very soon. I can't understand, from a local dealer and from Toshiba's website, what you get from the Cinema series. Is it worth it? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Toshiba Cinema Series TV are much better in picture quality compared to the regular line. Some of the electronic components are better built for the Cinema line.

For those of you looking for a HDTV from Toshiba, I talked to the rep last Friday and the big news is that all the new Toshiba HDTV (2002-03) models will have DVI connector. This is the same approach as Sony. The new Toshiba should arrive in August or September this year.

I am looking for a HDTV for myself (after selling many HDTV last year), and I recommend that you wait for the new HDTV with DVI input. The list price of the new Toshiba with DVI is essentiallly the same as last year models.
