Image Size Question

I am a new owner of a Toshiba DTS-3000 HDTV receiver. I have noticed that when using it to receive local digital signals at 480i, I cannot change the image size using the TV remote picture size toggle. It works fine for analog signals though. Am I doing something wrong?
