About to buy the 630HD - any setup advice?

I am about to purchase the following:

Pioneer Elite 630HD
Bettercables:
Silver Serpent Reference Component Video - 8 meter
Silver Serpent Component Video - 1 meter
Optical toslink - 8 meter
B&W 602 S3 speakers pair
33 feet x 3 of Audioquest Type 6 speaker wire for the 3 fronts
Universal MX-500 Remote
Ceiling IR System (6 emitters, block, ceiling receiver, etc)

I finally have finished my home theater that I've been working on for 2 years in the basement. Are there any tips that folks could give me on calibrating and setting up the TV? I am considering that "Sound & Vision" Home Theater set up DVD - is that any good?
