why did pioneer stop producing this model, i had this one about a year and no problem except on some channels the picture seems blurry( i`m using dtv) but pro dvd player plays great, also when i contacted pioneer they said that it wasn`t my tv but the signal i was receiving from dtv. i would be very thankful for any information given ..

Welcome to the forum. If the picture is good on some sources and not others, then it's likely the source that's the problem, not the TV.
