I have had my 30HF85 for just a little over 2 years and it's been developing a dark green vertical shadow on the right side of the screen. It's more noticable over white images like a hockey game. What is this called? How can I get it fixed?

Is the shadow the same width as the bars on the left and right of a 4:3 image? Is there something similar on the left side? If so, you have burn in and burn in cannot be "fixed".

If that's not it, perhaps you can post a photo?

I remember seeing something similar on my 26HF84, before Best Buy destroyed it in shipping.

It was a faint vertical dark band running across the left side of the screen. It was near where the 4:3 image ended, but it wasn't the thickness of the left black bar.

Thanks for responding. It's not where the left side of a 4:3 image would be, it's on the left as I am looking at it and there is nothing on the right. I can try to get a picture, not sure how it will turn out.

At first I thought the screen was dirty and I noticed it during Hockey games. I swapped my HDMI cable, it didn't go away. I just got PS3 which gave me a second HDMI source and I see the same thing on the white/lighter color screens.

It looks like the line might be on the screen itself inside of the TV. I'm not sure what causes it, but it seems like something that should be looked at by a professional.
