i bought the Vizio VX32L LCD TV and i went out and got a universal LCD mount and i find out that Vizio uses screws that only they can provide to mount a TV. So now i have to return the universal wall mount and buy Vizio's wall mount. very disappointed...

oh also i just checked online the Vizio flush wall mount costs $80 + shipping= $100. Wow i was in love with my Vizio until this. This is just BS and ridiculous. Does anyone have any input on what i can do. I spent my budget on the TV and i cant afford to shell out another $100.

They don't make you buy their wall mount. I purchased a Peerless at Costco. Some people get one from www.monoprice.com. I believe the screws used to hold the base on are the same size.

I bought one from Best Buy and it worked fine.

You need to check the spacing on the mount before you buy - don't rely on the specifications for the mount regarding TV weight or diagonal measurement. The standard spacing seems to be 17.5" or 23.5"(actually metric dimensions). My 42" LCD turned out to be the wider dimension and I had almost bought the wrong one. I ended getting a Peerless and it came with a bandolier of screws in different thread sizes and lengths. I think the ones I needed were 8mm.
