I believe there is an HPos and Vpos, or something similar, but I can't be certain. I assume you've read the warnings in the HDTV FAQ "Service Codes". It should not affect the geometry.

HPOS AND VPOS move the picture around within the raster. To move the actual raster up/down and left/right you need to use STRx, STHx, and VLDx (where x is a number corresponding to each of the stretch modes). Those params are only in the register menu after the X81 series.
