Greetings,
I am thinking about removing my protective screen and am wondering if it will have a big impact on my color temp? My color temp was set in a completely dark environment

Also. What would be the difference between removing the protective screen and just moving it to the back of the stack?

Great. I removed it instead of restacking it following carefully the instructions on the sticky, I also used the black weather striping to compensate for the gap left from the protective screen. Holy Heck. What a difference. I't is night and day differnce. now I am worried I should have restacked instead of completey removed :headscrat

I would also recommend two sets of hands for screen removal.

Here's my last question. What about dust on the screen? can I use a dry lint free cloth to dust?

Dan.

Since writing the instructions on screen removal ( http://www.white.hometheatertalk.com/tips/mirror.htm#H83 ) my wife just uses a feather type duster...One of those 'Seen on T.V!' things you get at Wal-Mart...No issues...Gorgeous picture to date...Did you paint the trim black??? REALLY compliments the screen removal along with improving the picture quality even further...

Thanks.
Unfortunately I didn't paint the silver trim black. The guide was great! It took less than an hour to get my neighbor, take the screen off, weatherstrip, and reasemble. I can't believe how shiny that protective screen is/was. I can now watch movies with a little bit of light on and the picture difference is substantial!
