Red Flickering

I have had a red flickering when I turn on my tv that lasts for about 10-15 mins. The redness has gotten more noticeable over time. I have had this toshiba 51h84 for about a year and a half now. This is the first real problem I have had with it. My question is, is this something that I should be concerned with, or is it something that happens to crt's over time, and they just need to warm up? Will it get worse?

Without seeing the anomoly I can only offer a stab that you have a power supply issue with the display. Hopefully an extended warr. contract is in a drawer somewhere, as a service call is most probably needed.
