HDMI Green Screen Toshiba 52HM84

Hello All
I'am new here but would like to inform the gen public about my problem. I have a Toshiba 52HM84 projection TV. 11 months into the 1 year warrenty the screen has turned green in the HDMI mode only. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem?. I have a Toshiba repair shop waiting for Toshiba to call them back. He says it is the third tv of the make and model that has call for service in the last week. Still waiting for Toshiba to respond. He thinks that the HDMI controler is faulty and maybe a re-call will go out for this model? Please respond if you have simular issues..

These green or pink issues can often be the result of a faulty HDMI or DVI connector. Have you unplugged and replugged the connector several times to ensure a good mechanical/electrical connection, or tried another HDMI cable?

What are you plugging into the TV using HDMI? Whatever it is, try rebooting it by unplugging/replugging. You can try that for the TV too.

If you've done all that stuff, then it could be a problem with the TV of course.

have done all those things. new cable box/new HDMI cable/ power down and up/ great picture on all other lines......colorstream/video 1-2 /ant 1-2

Update..........all the Toshiba tec's are at a convention. Still waiting for answers from them before repair person will come to house. HDMI works sometimes when you power down tv and then back on again?????

When you say green, do you mean the whole screen is solid green, or the image is visible but the color is all skewed green? When this problem arises have you tried switching from HDMI to another input and then back to HDMI?
