Help Please!!!

I held the input button then turned the TV on to get to the service menu. I wrote down the settings I wanted to change....but accidentally changed one i didn't write down.

If i push the factory reset, the numbers don't go back to where they were.....

does the factory reset work?

what are you settings for the first screen in the service menu? (in movie mode/std color?)

The factory reset button may only be for convergence. I'm not sure....

As you already know, changing service menu items is "bad" unless you know what you are doing. The service manual for my 2001 set has all the factory defaults. You may wish to see if you can get a look at a service menu ($30 or so)

I can't recall whether the newer manuals have factory settings in them or not. Check before you buy. You can order these from the service departments of anyone who handles Hitachi.
