Toshiba/PS2 HELP!

Hello all, I just got a 62hm85 toshiba DLP tele, but when I hook up the ps2 to the colourstream/colorstream component output the picutre is all screwy - its purple and wavy and doesn't even show up half the time.

Any help would be fantastic...
