I'm been looking at this model, but a real rookie with the HDTVs. I really don't want to make a mistake and spend big bucks for something I won't really like. Could someone please offer some words of advice on this model. Thanks so much for your help.

I have been researching this same model and found 1 review on line. Go read: "forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/2/143579.html" I'm probably going to the Samsung, they are the industry leader in DLP's.

Has the 56DR650 56 in. Rear Projection HDTV been discontinued?
