help setting up 43h82...

Hey guys I just bought my 42h82 last week and was wondering if you could help me out on a few questions?
First, this is my first Projection TV... and after setting it up I notice that my DTV ( and my cable) looks kind of bad, grainy and kind of blurry, not as good as it did on my old 27"jvc. Is this normal for RPTV?
P.S. DVD looks great
also can anyone recommend some settings such as color, sharp and other for this TV or if there is anything i can do to improve watching "normal" TV . such as cable or Direct TV SAT.

I have the same set ( 42H82).
Here's the settings that I ended up with after using the Avia disc :


Contrast-28
Brightness-37
Color-65
Tint- -9
Sharpness-45
AL- Off
Fleshtone- Off
DNR- Off
Color Temp- Warm


* Note that Settings might not have the same affect on your set?

This is all with using the "Movie Mode"

You stated that you set up your TV, but I wasn't sure if you had checkout out our FAQ section - 6th one down on the home page.
