42 widescreen HD problems

Hey guys,

i have been noticing lately that when i watch a dvd on my tv I see little red, blue, and green bars at the bottom and top of the screen. Its not really that big, but is very anoying. It only happens when the dvds do not fill the screen up all the way. Is this normal, or is something wrong. Also a week ago , I noticed that it made a loud popping sound and turned itself off. Then it turned on again and looked normal. I hope you can understand my babble.

Time to do convergence. Check your manual for how or go to www.keohi.com

I tried setting up the convergence, but it still does that. There is nothing on that website that tells about convergence. Should I let the tv be on for a while before I mess with the convergence anymore?

Make sure all your component cables are all the way in. This happened to me once, and one of the cables had pulled out a bit. Worth a try. Good luck!
