View Full Version : HDX vs HX?
What the difference between the 50HDX82 and the 50HX82. The 50HX82 model is about $300 - $400 more. But I can't see any differences. The manufacturer was no help either.
Do you think it's worth getting the HX model over the HDX model?
Thanks!
Anyone? Is this really a tough question?
I think I'll just go with the 50HDX82. I can't see much difference except for price.

when i went to toshiba's web site i was only able to find the "50hdx82" and the "50h82". no "hx".
the "hdx" was the more expensive one and there are several diferences, different lenses, different CRTs, etc...

There is NO 50HX82. It's 50HX81 (2002 model) Vs. 50HDX82 (2003 model). 50HDX82 has the RGB input and accpets 720p and upconverts it to 1080i (most STBs do that anyhow) If your STB does not have RGB output, then it really does NOT make much difference...
