Seeing double!

I have a Pioneer sd-582hd5 rear projection monitor that the green crt seems to be aiming incorrectly. it started in the lower left corner, but now it seens to be the whole screen. Did my crt go bed, or is this a convergence problem? I'm planning on calling a professional, but I'd also like to know enough to ask some not-too-stupid questions. I know, it may already be too late for that.

I assume you've pressed the usual "magic focus" button that's available to do a 4-9 point convergence and that didn't help?

There are usually multi-point (say 56-117 points) convergence that can be done on most TVs by entering the service menu - perhaps someone on this forum has this information for your TV.

I did, and can't seem to affect the distortion with that.

I should say that, I tried. It may be that I am doing it incorrectly. But unless one of the kids screwed with it, I'm pretty sure that's not it.
Oh and thank you for the reply. Don't run, but cyclist/x-c as well
