View Full Version : HDMI cable not very secure.

The HDMI port on the back of my Toshiba stinks, it only takes slight movement of the cable for the connection to fall out. Does anybody else have this same problem? Unlike my Toshiba, the HDMI port on the back of my OPPO DVD player is tight, why couldn't they design a better plug?

try a different hdmi cable
or reverse the ends, or put a piece of tape to secure the connection.

I agree. It is an issue. I have used a few different HDMI cables...and all the same, annoying occurrence (once in a while)...they would just 'fall out'...every easily. Using tape, etc. is the best bet...not much we can do unless you want to physically modify the input and/or cable to really fit tightly.
