A friend has the year 2000 AVIA version. Is this ok to use with my new Tosh 51h84? Any tests or options I'll miss that are in the newest version? Thanks.

That is the latest AVIA ( I thought it was even 1999). Anyway, it'll be fine to use. The only thing you may find missing is DD6.1 tests.

Thanks 57U. You are right. It is the 1999 AVIA. I have a 5.1 system so the 6.1 missing is not a problem. Now if I can luck out and receive the Tosh on or before Feb. the 3rd, when I have cable scheduled to hook up the SA8300HD/DVR, I'll be good to go.
