hd picture offcenter

I have a pioneer 710hd. I receive my hd programming through directv. When I use the vga 1080i input, the picture is offset to the right. If i use the 480i componet input the picture is centered. Any thoughts on this? Also, is the vga input giving me the best picture quality?

I would say stick with the component inputs for quality.

As for the centering of the picture, on the remote, press the MENU button. Go to SCREEN and you should be able to center the picture. Of course, be in 1080i mode when you do it.
