Any way you could tell us how you have everything connected/cabled?

Suggestion... start simple. Connect the DirecTV STB directly to the TV and see if it works.

Hello,
The 1120HD does not allow direct connection to the plasma panel.
Instead all connections and inputs are made to the Media Receiver.
There are 2 system cables to plasma panel from Media Receiver.I've tried STB to M.R.
via dvi-hdmi,and comp.video. No picture or sound..I've tried DVD player on 3 other
inputs. No picture or sound.Screen blank. All A/V components are working fine. I purchased this set 2 days ago from brick & morter.

Well... verify that the cables from the MR are correct and secure.

Then... I'd give a call to Pioneer Support or talk to someone at the store from where you bought it.

Either the TVor MR is bad or there's something that you may have overlooked in the manual for setup and/or enabling inputs.

I have the same TV. Although it seems like you've already done it ("All inputs enabled"), I'm suspecting it's an input configuration issue. Go to the Pioneer setup menu (see the owners manual for details) to configure all the inputs. I'm not sure if it's possible to make the mistake, but make sure there's not more than 1 device per "input." The media receiver might become 'confused' if there's a conflict. Also, it took me a few tries to figure out the different buttons on the remote (e.g. input 1-2-3, Ant, Sat, etc), so keep playing around with it. Hurry up, because you're missing out on some high quality HDTV!
