Has anyone noticed an intermittent flicker on their set? It's a popping-like sound that lasts for < 1 sec or so.....

I see this sporadically on my set and don't know why it's occuring. The set is less than 1-month old. Any ideas as to why this is occuring?

Toshibas are well known for their "arcing", which is caused by "floaters" in the CRTs. As long as the number of incidents get fewer, it's nothing to worry about. They eventually go away completely.

My 51H83 has never exhibited any 'pop' that I am aware of. Does it come from the speakers or internally???
