I bought my F38310 38" tv on July 24 and last night started to have my first problems with the set. Everything that is in white, for example the white lettering of the menus or anything white on the screen is trailing a white ghost off to the right hand side of the screen, even through the gray bars on the side. The Tv is watchable but this is very annoying. This is happening in every mode. I have tried to contact RCA at 1-877-rca-hdtv, but never get a live person. Does anyone know how to make any adjustments once your into the service test screen to see if this can be corected????? Any help would be appreciated.

My tube went bad and in an attempt to figure out the tech changed out the driver board on the back of the tube for a new one. Well, it turned out to be bad. Once the tube was replaced and the original driver board installed the original problem with the tube and the streeking went away
get them to fix it!

Most likely a tuner problem...not the tube. I had the same symptoms and it ended being the VCR not the TV to which it was connected. Disconnected the VCR and the problem went away. It was a RCA Super VHS unit.

I finally found a service tech to come and look at my problem. it was the board on the back of the picture tube. My Best Buy extended warranty covered it. It was the Kine drive with SVM board. Im a happy camper again. All the streaking is now gone.
