I just purchased a 55PL977S, matched up with a Panasonic DVD-S47S (component), DirecTV HD receiver (DVI), and Xbox (component). I’ve been playing around with the picture settings on the Philips, and would like to hear any thoughts from other Cineos users on their settings. Also, has anyone seen fit to have their TV professionally calibrated?

I just got a Cineos TV last week. Plugged it in and it was working fine for a few hours. All of a sudden the picture went real bright. I have tried to adjust and play with the settings and can get it looking ok but nothing spectacular. I am going to call Philips to see if they have recommended settings for Color, Contrast and Brightness etc. If you hear anything let me know. Thanks!
