Hi, I,m new here and just bought a Sharp LC-26GA4U and love it so far. I went with the 26" wide screen because of room size. After a lot of research I chose Sharp Aquos because of features like HDMI and 1bit sound. Just wondering if anyone else has the Sharp "G" series LCD ?. PS...I think this forum is great ! lots of info .

I am interested in the 32" or 37" models too.How does the set perform with videogames?

The 32" is perfect for my room, but if i can afford it by october, i'll gladly get the 37" :D

How is the black levels on that set?

I have the Sharp LC-37G4U and its the best $$ I ever spent - HD and DVD picture is phenomenal - regular tv is decent and video games are great as well. Best black levels I have seen in an LCD = I recommend lcdtvbuyingguide.com for reviews and dealers, etc. My only concern is the bulb life - after a few years it supposedly burns out and needs a replacement. Anyone had to do this with a sharp LCD?

I have the 26" Aquos and love it. Went with 26" partly due to room size, partly due to price and partly due to the fact you can get away with a $100 bracket to wall mount it compared to $500 for a bracket for a tv any bigger.

Bought a Sharp 13" EDTV for the kitchen, early last month, and the PQ is exceptional...with simply analog basic cable!

Dude...

Lamp Life 60,000 hours

If you watch 8 hours of TV every day, you'd have to watch it for 20.54 years before the bulb runs out.
