I have had this set for about a year now. I bought it at a little over 1000.00 at best buy and i fell in love once i got home and got the dish network 6000u hooked up to and and all my video game systems hooked up through component inputs. The hd programming was GREAT!! the non hd programing looked shaky. A month ago i found out that you could calibrate the tv, or should for better picture. I was gaming and viewing dvd's on the different preset settings. I found the movie setting to be way to dark and the multimedia setting to be way to bright. I was wondering what the other owners of this set were using to view their movies or their programing on hd with. Are you guys or gals calibrating it using one of these dvd's (avia or video essentials) or are you guys using like a thx optimizer. I am lost here. I think my picture looks good but i want to use my tv to the best of its ability. What settings are you guys using to watch movies or play games. I have everything hooked up properly just need help with getting the best picture out of my tv.
